So your first training session is booked…what to wear?!

So you maybe had a few too many slices of pizza or ice blended sugary coffee’s this summer and your jeans are a bit too tight. You have decided you are going to start fall in a big way and get back into shape! Congratulations!! That is sometimes the hardest part – committing to a new fitness routine and sticking to it! Now that your athletic training class or personal training session is on the books, you are probably asking yourself – “what do I wear?” The workout is going to be a challenge, the last thing you want to worry about is your outfit.

As an athlete myself, I have found that sticking to dark colors for an athletic training workout is best. You will most likely be using steps, weights, rowers, bands and other equipment that may have dirt or dust. It is the worst feeling to mark up your new light toned outfit on your first day of training. Save the pastel colors for your yoga studio sessions. Check out some of our favorite sets below.
